Located at the centre of the Oniiwa Hot Spring within a quasi-national park, the building sits between Mizunami City and Mitake Town, and the Kani River flows through it. Guest rooms are traditional Japanese and, if you sit in the hiroen, you can listen to the sounds of the river while admiring the majestic mountain scenery of Mino. There is an indoor hinoki bath and an open-air bath in the communal facility; there’s also a stone sauna you can use.
